Mahjong 101 - Introduction to American Mahjong

You may have heard the rumor — and it’s true — Mahjong has a steep learning curve! This beginner friendly class will teach you all of the rules and gameplay flow for standard American Mahjong. Participants will leave feeling confident and ready to play on their own. 

Mahjong 201 

Often more advanced players choose to play off of “The Card.” Instead of the traditional 3 sets of 4 and a pair and 4 sets of 3 and a pair, there are many different ways to win on the card. This class introduces players to the American Mahjong League card as well as The Big Card. Once introduced, you’ll play many practice rounds with hands-on coaching to help you remember the rules and to identify success strategies to help you play more confidently and win more often. 

Complete Mahjong Class

This class is recommended for those who experienced strategy game players or want to learn everything there is to learn about Mahjong in one sitting. You’ll learn standard American Mahjong as well as gain exposure to the National Mahjong League Card. You’ll have the opportunity get coaching on several rounds of each level of the game.
